Maleesh was an intern in the Events team at WSO2 Marketing. Although his stay with us was short, he had a lasting impact on the team. He has a great attitude and brings and energy to his work that is so refreshing. Maleesh was conscientious, hard working and brought a great, can-do attitude to everything he did. He fit in well with the WSO2 culture and his co-workers all appreciated his work and contribution to our Marketing efforts.

An efficient team member that I had the pleasure of working with at WSO2, Maleesh joined the Events team as an intern and looked into many projects throughout his 8-month internship. I found it very easy to work with him as he grasped the information provided very efficiently and took on the tasks and delivered the required results. He worked on various team projects which contained a lot of backend website work, monitoring salesforce campaigns, and webinar reporting. He also looked into the team’s other requirements as well as which gave him a chance to improve his learning curve in other areas of handling events for a global corporate.

Project 100 Storytellers was successful due to the dedication of the team behind and Maleesh led this group of extraordinary young individuals to achieve the historical project within AIESEC Sri Lanka. As the Organizing Committee President, the innovation-driven ideas from Maleesh were invaluable. During this time period, Maleesh displayed exceptional leadership skills, guiding 13 young individuals in a fully virtual platform managing to deliver 17 sessions in collaboration with 17 industry expert guest speakers and the grand finale of the program, the inaugural National Marketing Day of AIESEC Sri Lanka 20.21.

Maleesh is an exceptional individual. It was a blessing to have profiles like Maleesh in the ambassador team which gave super strength to the entire project. Maleesh is a visionary, makes accurate decisions and in addition to all, his blend of skills between technology, marketing and design makes him a key player to any team. I had the pleasure to be part of Maleesha’s volunteer team for the „be sri lankan“ project, which he was leading. Maleesha did an outstanding job in planing, organizing, budgeting, and executing every part of the six weeks project.
